Hickory Museum of Art, Alexander Co. Library partner in Civil Rights exhibit

The Alexander County Library and Hickory Museum of Art recently partnered to offer perspectives on the lives of women whose courage helped change the course of history during the Civil Rights movement. They are currently sharing the “She Persisted: Coretta Scott King and Women of the Civil Rights Movement” exhibit. Half of the work is on display at Alexander County’s Taylorsville branch library while the Hickory Museum of Art (HMA) has its half on display at Atlanta Bread in Hickory.\n
